Working Party of Multiphase Fluid Flow - NewsNews acceptedChanges: add or modify or delete an item Working Party on Multiphase Fluid Flow "WPMF": Meetings In 2005 we had two Meetings: (1) At 7th World Congress on Chemical Engineering, Glasgow, UK, July 2005. (2) At 7th International Conference on Gas-Liquid-Solid Reactor Engineering, Strasbourg, France, August 2005. In 2006 we plan a Meeting at ETPFGM, Lausanne, Switzerland, 7-9 June 2006 (completed). Gas-Liquid-Solid Reactor Engineering "GLS" This is a regular event, every 2 years, moving worldwide, America-Europe-Asia. The last was in Strasbourg, France, 2005 (http://www.ensic.inpl-nancy.fr/GLS7).The next is scheduled for India, New Delhi, 16-19 December 2007 (http://www.gls8.com). It is the key multiphase event: chemical engineering community. International Conference on Multiphase Flow "ICMF" This is a regular event, every 3 years, moving worldwide, Asia-Europe-America. The last was in Yokohama, Japan, 2004. The next is planned for Halle-Merseburg, Germany, 2007. It is the key multiphase event: mechanical and nuclear engineering community. (http://www.icmf2007.org). EUROMECH Fluid Mechanics Conference "EFMC" This is a regular event, every 3 years, moving around Europe (Toulouse, France 2003; Stockholm, Sweden 2006). It is organized by the EUROMECH Society (http://www.euromech.org). It has a multiphase flow section. It is the key multiphase event: physical and mathematical community. European Congress of Chemical Engineering "ECCE" This is a regular event, every 2 years, moving around Europe (1997 Firenze IT, 1999 Montpellier FR, 2001 Nurnberg DE, 2003 Granada SP, 2005 Glasgow UK). The next is planed for Copenhagen DK, 16-21 September 2007 (http://www.ecce6.kt.dtu.dk/). General, broad-band, large-scale chemical-engineering event. It may have a section devoted to fluid flows. World Congress of Chemical Engineering "WCCE" This is a regular event, every 2 years, moving around Europe. The last was in Glasgow, UK, July 2005 (worldcongress@icheme.org.uk). The next is planed for Copenhagen 2007. General, broad-band, large-scale chemical-engineering event. It may have a section devoted to fluid flows. International Congress on Chemical engineering "CHISA" This is a regular event, every 2 years, held in Prague, Czech Republic (http://www.chisa.cz). General, broad-band, large-scale chemical-engineering event. It has a regular section "Fluid Flow and Multiphase Systems". International Conference of Slovak Society of Chem. Engrs. "SSCHI" This is a regular annual event held in High Tatras, Slovakia, usually end of May (http://sschi.chtf.stuba.sk). General, broad-band, large-scale chemical-engineering event. It may have a section devoted to fluid flows.
